    I'm Lauren and this is a blog dedicated to living life with a healthy balance. I love to run, strength train, bike and just be downright active. I'm a marathoner as of April 24, 2010 and am currently looking forward to qualifying for the Boston Marathon.

    I absolutely love to eat and enjoy great food but doing it all in moderation. You'll see healthy, organic foods on here frequently but you'll also run into things such as pizza and sweets. I believe you can have it all... just not all at once.

Flying By

Today is actually flying by pretty fast! I’ve had a steady trickle of patients to assess in triage so it’s kept the time moving pretty steadily.

Lunch is here and I’m excited. Pizza from last night. I cut two big pieces in half to make 4 smaller slices. I’m eating three now and one later since it’s fruit dinner night.

I always get excited when it comes to eating and food. Is that weird? I just love talking about it, thinking about it and eating it. Food is a fun and great thing and I think it should be! It makes eating so much more enjoyable and in turn, more satisfying. Do you agree?
