    I'm Lauren and this is a blog dedicated to living life with a healthy balance. I love to run, strength train, bike and just be downright active. I'm a marathoner as of April 24, 2010 and am currently looking forward to qualifying for the Boston Marathon.

    I absolutely love to eat and enjoy great food but doing it all in moderation. You'll see healthy, organic foods on here frequently but you'll also run into things such as pizza and sweets. I believe you can have it all... just not all at once.

Fruit Dinner

Not much happened after I posted this afternoon. The rain is still coming down so I didn’t get the remainder of my run in so that means I need to hit it tomorrow night after work.

I love all the comments on my last post! It makes my day to get comments! I love interacting with you all. So thanks for making me smile today. 🙂

I chilled out with the hubs the rest of the day and prepared my breakfast, lunch and snack for work tomorrow. Seven o’clock rolled around and I still didn’t feel that hungry for dinner so I decided to eat an apple with 3/4 tablespoon of peanut butter.

I had already opened my peanut butter when I thought about trying the apples with almond butter. I took a bite of almond butter with one slice and I liked it. I think almond butter will taste much better to me when I pair it with something sweeter like oats or fruits.

And now the hubs is tempting me with the offer of a Reese’s Cup Blizzard from Dairy Queen. I’m actually entertaining the idea. Who can pass up a blizzard? We’ll see…. I might have enough will power to say no. Or not… You’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out!

Question of the Day: What’s your favorite mix-in for ice cream or fro yo? Or better yet… what’s your favorite blizzard flavor?
