    I'm Lauren and this is a blog dedicated to living life with a healthy balance. I love to run, strength train, bike and just be downright active. I'm a marathoner as of April 24, 2010 and am currently looking forward to qualifying for the Boston Marathon.

    I absolutely love to eat and enjoy great food but doing it all in moderation. You'll see healthy, organic foods on here frequently but you'll also run into things such as pizza and sweets. I believe you can have it all... just not all at once.

Breakfast Fuel

Once again, I started my morning by waking up ten minutes earlier than normal. I’m really hoping this becomes a daily routine because it makes my mornings so much more laid back. I don’t feel rushed. I can take my time getting ready, waking up, driving to work, getting settled into work, etc.

Thankfully this morning at work was less busy than yesterday so I actually got to eat breakfast. I had some of my trusty Raisin Bran cereal. I love this cereal and could probably ear the whole box if I let myself. Good good.

I’m super excited about my tuna salad sandwich for lunch today.

I brought a pear for my side instead of my normal (past routine) of chips.

A perfect thing to add a little crunch to my lunch meal.

It’s been a great day do far and I’m looking forward to our Community Group meeting tonight. Beware: Tonight is the night where dinner is actually dessert. 😉 See ya later!
